That morning, we went on a ride with Jim and Dianne on their boat, on the Wateree River. The weather wasn't too hot yet, and little Lucy got to come along too. Please notice that Addison is posing in her stylish life jacket. :)
We rode around for awhile, and ended up stopping at a couple of different "sand bars." The first was where we had a snack, but there wasn't much room for the kids to run around.
So we loaded back up and headed out to find another one.
The second was perfect for running around and splashing in the water!
After a lot of play time, it was time to head back to our cars and head home for nap time. On the way back to our car, the kids loved hanging over the edge of the boat to see the water. Until we saw an alligator, that is!! It wasn't very close but we saw it's head gliding across the water. After that, they were happier sitting safely inside the boat. :)
The kids were worn out and didn't make it the whole way home before falling asleep. For Fischer, this isn't a big deal because he will go back to sleep in his bed. However, if Addison falls asleep at all in the car, she will not go back to sleep at home. So, it was a no nap day for her! Fischer was so tired, he fell asleep while eating a bag of Dorito's, but kept eating them in his sleep!
That night, Jim and Dianne came over for a yummy dinner. Sadly, Scott had to prepare his own Father's Day meal, but I think that's what he prefers!

I love it when Daddy: Sticks out his tongue like the annoying orange.
