Here are some of the latest updates from the house...
The porch is coming along. They should be adding the screens soon.
They hardwood floors are moving quickly too. It's hard to see, but they are actually using different widths of boards, 3" and 5". I haven't seen it in person, but Scott says it looks great!
They have also started some of the detail work on the front of the house, which will include columns and some exposed beam work over the front entryway.
We are making some progress on our granite decision. The kids are becoming pros at looking at house stuff! Today, we got in the car and Fischer said "Look at paint? Look at granite?" We also took them to the house yesterday and they had so much fun exploring all of the different rooms. Their favorite thing was sitting in the closets - I think they think they are little forts. :)
And here are a couple pictures of the kids. I love this picture of Fischer because it's the perfect combination of Scott and me - part South Carolina and part camo. And Addison is being Ms. Serious - Wearing one of her new hair clips from Grandmommy K. :)
